It's what roommates do for each other.
This picture was inspired after the events of Alone at Sea and what Peridot posted on her twitter. I figured after seeing what Peridot said she would have taken things seriously and stayed around Lapis in case she needed anything. Though I'm pretty sure once things settled down she put on a show with her new found powers and show Lapis her Camp Pining Hearts tapes and essays. Maybe play some frisbee too.
